08:02 AM ET 09.22 | Kenyon Martin will join the slow trickle of players heading overseas. [Martin] will sign a contract to play with Xingiang Guanghui in the Chinese Basketball Association. Martin's contract will be the the biggest in CBA history. "It's a great opportunity for him to stay in shape and stay fresh," said Andy Miller, Martin's agent. "And it also gives him an opportunity to expand his name globally." It's an exciting career opportunity for Martin, an unrestricted free agent, who won't have an out-clause in his contract. The CBA ends on Feb. 16, but Martin's team is talented and could make a playoff run toward the end of March. Wilson Chandler and J.R. Smith, Martin's Denver teammates, are also playing in China this year.

Why not Denver just move the whole team to China and play there? They will have a better chance of winning a title.

Memo to Mr. Stern and the players:

The NBA is not the freakin' NFL! Fans will not return in droves if you screw with the season. Move your heads about three feet above where they are right now and smell the coffee.

For all the money spent on the Yankees they should never lose a game. They should lead from wire to wire, win the division by 40 games and win the World Series in 4 every freakin' year! If anything they're just a bunch of overpaid underachievers!
