08:12 AM ET 09.23 | Desperate times may call for desperate measures in New York. Paging Randy Moss! Please pick up the Big Blue courtesy phone! Yes, it's a desperation call. But those are the kind that the Giants are going to have to start making if they're interested in salvaging a season that has been ravaged by injuries. Moss is the only free-agent receiver available with the kind of explosiveness that the Giants need right now. No disrespect to Victor Cruz, the Giants' second-year receiver, or Jerrel Jernigan, the rookie, but no one is going to get their popcorn ready to see them dance in the end zone. It's too early to panic, with 14 games remaining. But the Giants are in terrible straits on offense.

Eli can't throw that far down the field.

However, I think Moss would be perfect for their locker room.

Perfect.

hahahahaha. Coughlin and Moss? I don't see that working out.

September 23, 2011  08:21 AM ET

Don't they have enough health problems in NY without adding a cancer to the locker room?

This.

Wow. The New York Daily News is now the GM for the Giants. Who'da thunk it?

My John Thomas gets hard when I think about how this sub-genius scuttled his good thing in New England and has been, for all intensive purposes, begging to come back. It'd love to see him in NY. That decision would get Coughlin fired in the end.

Hey, why not TO? Yes, I'm going to start whining again for my TO threads.

If thinking about Moss got ANYTHING of mine hard, I'd keep it to myself.

I'm a beer guy, but the prospect of Moss on my team would have me reaching for the hard stuff.

Just stay away from Dewars. We've already discussed that.

The new Auchentoshan Three Wood is lovely, by the way.

Balvenie Double Wood 16 y/o is my new fav.

Stay away from the Dewars White Label. The 12 y/o is actually drinkable.

Makes sense to me with Randy.

Does anyone trade any more in the NFL? Why can't the Giants trade for James Jones,

Moss plays only when he feels like playing. I wouldn't feed this crap to my dog.
