Big 12 eyes poaching TCU, Louisville from Big East

08:27 AM ET 09.23 | Where will the next shoe drop in the conference realignment conversation? With all nine Big 12 presidents announcing their intentions tonight to remain in the league, the latest development in conference realignment could become problematic for the Big East, which now has to be on guard for yet another raid on its membership -- this one from the West. In addition to remaining whole, the Big 12 said its expansion committee has been reactivated, with the first goal to increase the conference's membership to 10. And two Big East schools could be squarely in the Big 12's sights: TCU, which isn't scheduled to join the Big East until next year, and Louisville.

Would TCU have an exit fee, even though they haven't entered yet?

Yeah, but they could easily pay that off after negotiating for "The Horned Frog Network" with Bebee. However, they would have to give Texas half of their revenue and change the name to "The Long-Horned Frog Network" after Bebee asks Texas for permission.

I guess they want Louisville after coming off that stellar display of football power over Kentucky.

Nah, they saw them lose to Florida International and think they can bring in an easy win to go along with Kansas.

It's hard to keep the reputation on the Big 2+10-2=12. They need a few more have-nots to round out the numbers and make Okie and UTX feel good about themselve "dominating" a BCS conference

I wonder if member schools of those conferences will threaten to sue like some in the Big 12 did.

Probably why a couple of former members that didn't "dominate" that BCS conference were asked (and more than willing) to join other BCS conferences to be dominated. Time will tell if they can transition into dominating those BCS conferences. COC may have a chance but I can't see Ralphie doing it.

Since Baylor and ISU are getting better, need more some guaranteed wins for them
