08:16 AM ET 09.28 | Brian Kelly made good on another chance to defend Tommy Rees. [Despite leading] his team on a game-winning, fourth-quarter drive ... the Irish quarterback has been the subject of some scrutiny for the lackluster performance preceding it and his nine turnovers on the year. Again Tuesday, Kelly reiterated consistency as the theme of the year for his sophomore signal-caller. "You can put together an incredible highlight reel with Tommy Rees this year," Kelly said. "And you could also put together a blooper film. So it's really being able to gain that consistency of play after play after play. And a lot of that is learning and experience, and that's where we're at."

Between the Dome, Purdue and IU, the state of Indiana is definitely the country's football powerhouse.

Like I said before, at least Weis maximized the talents of a QB... both Quinn and Clausen. I don't see that ability in Kelly so far... far from it!

But two of those three are part of a murderer's row schedule....and the domers aren't one of the two.

Bet you can make a blooper reel of Kelly losing his composure

That'd be good entertainment right there.
