08:02 AM ET 09.28 | In the event they wind up picking first in the draft, and if you believe the Vikings and Rams would pass on a quarterback as their No. 1 pick, there may only be a handful of teams with a shot at landing Andrew Luck. Three of the teams that have yet to win a game -- the Chiefs, Miami, and Indianapolis -- appear to be front-runners in the race for the first pick of the 2012 draft. ... When the Broncos resume play on Oct. 23 at Miami, those fans buying billboards clamoring for [Tim Tebow] could get their wish, if only for a while. The Dolphins, who are having trouble selling tickets, would love to see Tebow, an icon in Florida, play that day. The top overall pick could come down to Jan. 1 when the Broncos finish the season at Arrowhead Stadium.

Wow, we did it. We've got an official Suck for Luck thread.

What's it going to take? I don't think 2-14 will win it outright. They'd have to use a tiebreaker, but somebody's going to go 1-15.

Gee, I sure hope Andrew Luck doesn't get hurt this year, or all these teams will tank for nothing

It's just week 4... Way too early for this.

September 28, 2011  08:20 AM ET

Even when Luck does come to the pros he's a few seasons away from helping any team. So whoever gets him is still gonna suck.

You haven't seen the Chiefs, Chico.

More than one first round QB has tanked it in the big league.

Just so much can happen between now and then... Another QB or player may emerge as the top overall in college.... Luck might pull an Eli and say he doesn't want to play for the team with the worse record.... Just a lot of time to ponder draft picks, especially considering we had an extended summer discussing them, from fear of a lockout.

Wow, sounds like a new military high-tech action film - BA-CON III. All about raising the threat level as Islamic militants use oil money to buy Armour, Hormel, and all the other bacon-producing companies in the US. Chuck Norris tricks them into eating barbeque, then dispatches them after their sin has taken them off the martyr track.
