08:03 AM ET 09.29 | Ryan Grant is right back where he doesn't want to be: hurting. [Grant] lost so much time rehabbing a serious ankle injury last season that he doesn't really have the patience for a kidney bruise. The Green Bay Packers running back expressed frustration Wednesday that he might be held out of the Denver Broncos game Sunday because the medical staff is reluctant to clear him. A decision won't be made until Friday, but Grant was held out of practice and probably will be again Thursday. "It's definitely frustrating, Grant said. "That's kind of the mood that I'm in right now. I think it's even harder because of me sitting out so many games last year. I don't want to miss a game at all. But I kind of have no say in this."

Don't really know why I picked this guy up this week.

Grant was out most of last season. the Packers can win without him.

Yup, one good hit is all it takes to put him on the training table.

Next few weeks...look at who they are playing.

Denver, Falcons, Rams, Vikings, BYE.

It must get harder for them later in the season, because that's a light schedule for the defending Champs.

I can see over confidence brewing that will make them drop one though.

It won't be this week.

No, I'm thinking the Falcons.

They spanked them but good in the playoffs and the Falcons didn't improve their D. I don't see a Pack problem there.

Playing Denver is almost like a bye anyway. Let him heal up and be healthy for the stretch.

The NFL has a new Golden Boy at QB in Aaron Rogers, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if they want to help the world forget about you know who, in a Packers uniform.

Some of the key names on that banged up list are, Clifton, Finley, Green, Matthews, Woodson.

A rest wood be good for them.
