08:02 AM ET 09.30 | Slowed in practice this week, Dez Bryant didn't make it to the practice field on Thursday. The Cowboys are optimistic [Bryant] will play Sunday. ... Bryant was hurt in the season-opening loss at the New York Jets. He didn't play in the Week 2 overtime win at San Francisco, but he fought through the pain Monday night to catch four passes for 63 yards in the win over Washington. Bryant was limited Wednesday. "When you stress it like you do during the course of a game, sometimes it doesn't bounce back as quickly as you want it to," coach Jason Garrett said. "He just has to continue to work his way through it. We're hopeful by the end of the week he can practice a little bit more and be ready (Sunday)."

Maybe his life coach will send him a memo: Dez, you have a game this Sunday against Detroit. Please be prompt.

I so want the Cowboys to win this week.

Somebody tell Dez that he's not in the Suh-Zone and doesn't have to worry so much.

September 30, 2011  08:15 AM ET

He gutted his way through it last week and will again this week.

Once again... the Dallas "D" needs to step it up. This isn't Sanchez, Smith or Grossman they will see across the line of scrimmage.

The Dow, Large Cap, Small Cap, NASDAQ, Financials, Industrials are all well off their historic highs, both long and short term.

Only the Bling Index is up. Check the price of gold. Dez is crazy like a fox when it comes to investing.

September 30, 2011  09:15 AM ET

C'mon man. Look at your qb...now get your **** out there.

September 30, 2011  09:25 AM ET

Unfortunately for Dez, he won't be man-to-man against MeAngelo Hall again this week. He might actually have to go 100%.

Wow... just heard Boomer Esiason's news report; Tony Romo had open heart surgery last night. He's resting comfortably and is expected to play this weekend. He may wear a flack jacket but he'll play thru the pain.

Jessica Simpson just issued a statement saying that can't be true. She claims Romo never had a heart in the first place.

Dez steals jewelry, steals paychecks, can't play with pain, won't catch the ball in traffic...why don't we put players like him on ignore and hope they just go away.
