08:19 AM ET 09.30 | In an indication of the NCAA landscape, conferences with names such as the Mountain West and Big East are talking about the same program. Mountain West Commissioner Craig Thompson said there's "no question there have been conversations" between Air Force and the Big East Conference. ... He also said he would caution any school considering a move to the Big East to make sure that league has stable footing first. "I don't know if I'd sign off to the Big East right now if I were an institution," he said. Thompson addressed a number of these matters in a short interview Thursday, including whether Conference USA consultant Chuck Neinas has a conflict in his role as the interim commissioner of the Big 12.

Air Force is in Colorado Srpings, Colorado, right? Why don't they concentrate on a college more reasonable, geographic-wise..... like University of Hamburg.
