08:04 AM ET 10.03 | Credit Michael Beasley for spicing up this extended offseason with a hail of guarantees. [Beasley] is making a guarantee that his D.C. team will beat Team Philly on Oct. 15 in Washington D.C., in what is being deemed "The City of Brotherly Love vs. Chocolate City." "They won't beat us," Beasley said on Friday after his Goodman League team defeated the Rucker Park All-Stars in New York. "Point blank. Period. I'll make every guarantee in the world. Goodman League is going to run the nation and take care of business. Philly, LA, New York, back to DC, Miami, Cleveland, wherever they want to take us, that's where Goodman is going to be."

Who the hell cares about these sour pick up games? What about REAL games that are actually shown on TV and that mean something!

Games "that mean something"?

Pfffttt......

All games 'mean something' to someone! I see no reason for any of these guys NOT to brag about whatever team they play for, in any environment that they play in.....even if it's games that they play for free! They're playing these games mostly for themselves anyway, and there's nothing wrong with that!

He11.....you don't like it.....don't post.....just move on.

If only he was this passionate about The NBA team who pays his incentive laden salary. He might truly emerge as one of the leagues elite forwards. Till then......he is the epitomy of that dreaded word. POTENTIAL

Remember a couple years back when there was a huge debate over who Chicago should draft with their #1 pick?
