Roethlisberger in doubt for Sunday

08:04 AM ET 10.04 | Back to Batch in Pittsburgh? The Steelers are cautiously optimistic that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger sustained a sprain and not a fracture in his left foot in Houston, though his status for Sunday's game is in question. Roethlisberger suffered his latest injury in the Steelers' 17-10 loss to the Houston Texans. He finished the game after getting hurt on the next-to-last series but left Reliant Stadium wearing a walking boot. The Steelers will evaluate Roethlisberger, who played the latter part of last season with a stress fracture in his right foot, throughout the week. If he is unable to go against the Tennessee Titans, veteran Charlie Batch would likely start.

Ben will play. He may be a meathead and a rapist, but he's a tough meatheaded rapist.

So the stomping by Baltimore in week 1 wasn't a fluke?

Plenty of evidence of the former. No evidence of the latter, despite whatever you wish to, um, think.

Bro... Let it rest... He raped the girl already.

Having just one woman to molest for the rest of his life must not be agreeing with Ruthlessgroper. Variety is the spice of life, and all that.

They can't put Charlie out there with the oline the way it is, he'll get killed. At least Dixon can run, his chances of escaping undamaged are somewhat better

Interesting point. You may be on to something, especially given Batch's bad luck with injuries.

Batch has always done well when they've needed him but he's not the right guy for this situation
