08:07 AM ET 10.05 | Ersan Ilyasova may not get his wish. [Ilyasova] said he wants to stay with Anadolu Efes Istanbul the entire season and has no intention to return to the NBA when lockout ends. The player is under contract with Milwaukee Bucks and is obliged to return to USA when the new CBA will be signed. "I want to stay with Anadolu Efes for the whole year. I hope there is a FIBA rule which would allow me to play the season in Turkey and Efes to keep me. We will fight for TBL and Euroleague. Our goal for the season is to reach the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four in Istanbul. We know we are in a very tough group in Euroleague but we have to go step-by-step" said Ilyasova, as reported by Salsabasket.

And that headline says it all ... (Sorry nova)

Turkey over Brats ;-) ...

but No need for Sorry .... think about in Turkey, which is Ersan, home country ...
most likely Ersan a Starter at Forward ...

with Milwaukee, Ersan a bench player, backup pF/sF, starts maybe for an IR player ...

plus for the Players who do play elsewhere .... the End of the Lockout will be like being Traded ...
go to bed in Turkey, Italy, etc ... then wake up and back to the NBA, a new / old team ...

Milwaukee is cool. But you just keep on being a sycophant. We don't need you or want you. It's better to not have to deal with what happened to Seattle.

A few of the international players arrive in the United States with high hopes of being great, and then they step onto a pro basketball court and begin to realize that they have bit off to big a piece and can't swallow. Your now matched against the best of the best in the world, if you don't have it you will be exposed very soon; it don't take long.

He wants to play in a place that's not to far from home and a league where he will get an opportunity to dominate. Let him out of his contract and sign someone else who can hack it in the NBA.
