Clint Bowyer will join Michael Waltrip Racing

About one third through Nascar's version of the playoffs ..... and this is the best they can come up with?

no kidding. Evidently T&R hates NASCAR & Smoke.

Perfect fit...Average team that on a rare time or two, actually looks like they are getting it, and a driver who is famous for fighting his way into the Chase and not doing a damn thing.

Bowyer has a few good years left, he might be a good fit with MWR.

I don't think this is a good move for MWR, have to wait and see,,, Clint runs in sperts, and not very consistant.

im not so sure about that.. truex looked like he had potential early on his career.. hasnt done much with MWR

Could be skill and driving ability and experience might make for the good fit.

changing the subject. wow jimmie johnson is cocky lol I know I know he has won (the chase) 5 times ( I cant say season long champion 5 times) So I will say again, he has won the chase 5 times, so he has a right to be, but man he gets on my nerves. I just saw the interview where he says, am I still out of it? with a smirk lol Please anyone win it besides him this year!!

Im not saying this bc Im a rcr guy, but I feel bowyer would have been tough next year if he was still with rcr. He has had some really good runs of late. Just had some bad luck this year. I don't think he will be a championship threat with MWR. But who knows

Mikey won the 500 (2x)...and didn't do much driving for his own team. Pattern?

Another quality post from Oval the dumb bass. How is it not the same thing? How do you play down the fact that the guy won 5 in a ROW??? I am not much of a 48 fan..but give the guy his due for his accomplishments. It'll be a long time before you see any one come close to winning 2 in a row..let alone FIVE.

out of his 5 championships had they still been on the old points system, how many championships would he have?

i dont know the # but i do know he'd still be a champion.
