08:12 AM ET 10.07 | Tim Lincecum is being sued by his former landlord. [Lincecum] trashed his townhouse in San Francisco's Mission District, causing at least $200,000 in damage to the furnished unit, according to a lawsuit. ... Lincecum "broke plaintiff's personal property" and "stained, defaced, tore, injured or destroyed" items around the time his lease expired Feb. 28 at 141 Hampshire St., said the suit filed Wednesday in San Francisco Superior Court by the ex-landlord, Mindy Freile. Lincecum damaged "bedding, doors, carpet, pillows, kitchenware, linens, furniture, household appliances, art work, decorations, patio furniture, lights, lamps and mirrors, among other things," said the suit, which seeks $350,000 in damages.

In layman's terms: bong water spilled on the carpet, burn holes in the sofa, coffee table smeared with resin, Cheeto stains on the wall.

When asked about the lawsuit, Timmy giggled, passed a bag of Chips Ahoy, and turned up the volume on Spongebob.

I don't know Trooper. I've been building and repairing residential properties for almost 30 years and unless the furnishing in that apartment were gilded with pure gold I think the landlord is full of it.

Maybe there was a Vermeer on the wall.

For a guy who earns $13 mil a year, you would think he could buy his own place instead of renting.

But then he'd have to trash his own place.

san fran's one of the most expense real estate market in the u.s.; $200k in personal prop damage is realistic, but the landlord's a dope for renting this kid a furnished unit with such nice stuff...
