10:10 AM ET 10.09 | If things continue the way they are going in Miami, people close to the situation believe the Dolphins job will be Jon Gruden's if he wants it. Gruden remains undecided on whether or not he will remain in broadcasting. It's likely Stephen Ross will offer Gruden a sweatheart deal that will make it difficult for Gruden to turn down. Rumors continue that the Dolphins also will hire Carl Peterson as team president.

If Gruden becomes the coach, how many QBs will he have on the roster? 7 or 8?

HEY! 8,000!

or K.C......or Jacksonville.....and here's a longshot...Philadelphia. If the Eagles fail to make the playoffs it could be Andy's last year and Gruden coach in Philly before...just sayin

Miami thinks they have problems now? Wait until Chucky comes to town. Surely there's some Pop Warner coach who is better suited for the job.

I would stay in the broadcast booth Jon.

If the 'Phins ever want to find the next Marino, they'd better not hire Gruden. He'll just find the next six Chad Hennes and keep them all on the roster together.

Sounds like a casting call for clipboard holders around the league.

Gruden in line for Dolphins job

Please, please get him off MNF.

I think he's just waiting for the right spot. If this team lands the number one pick, I think Gruden wants it because that means he gets to work with Andrew Luck (and possibly, destroy his career).

he went into great situations with the Raiders and Bucs, but not the Fins

What's a SWEATheart deal? Seems the opposite of appealing... Maybe a SWEETheart deal would be better.

Broad-casting. I'm gonna need a bigger worm.

Gruden was the perfect guy for the Bccs job at the time. That was a veteran team that needed a kick in the butt and he delivered. But once that team got old and needed a makeover Gruden had no clue what to do. He would be a terrible fit in Miami.
