10:41 AM ET 10.09 | A person familiar with the situation told The AP that Dwyane Wade called an hourlong meeting with players after the FIU game to discuss the lockout. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because talks were to remain private, saying Wade, Chris Paul and Miami Heat player representative James Jones answered questions about the status of negotations. The person also said Wade has taken "a more active role" in talks about a new labor deal of late and that he urged players to be "informed rather than accept any deal."

Their union won't allow them to vote on it because the union is listening and fighting for the superstar players, instead of the regular NBA player. If the union were allowed to vote, the regular players would vote to end the lock out decisively, the union is being handcuffed by the selfish demands of the superstars who refuse to give up a dime.

Yeah like I said earlier in the day. Wade has become quite the little dictator. This guy has his money. He knows he has one more big time money contract left in his tank.

Also after last summer playing the roll of general manager of the Heat. Wade doesn't want the new CBA to break up the team he put together last summer.
