Offensive coordinator Gary Crowton accepted blame for the snafu, and it might have been what led to his departure at the end of the season. Trying to substitute players at the goal line with the clock winding down contributed to the delay and confusion. LSU's offense this season is more streamlined and operating more efficiently under the guidance of Steve Kragthorpe, who was hired to replace Crowton, and Greg Studrawa. ... There are fewer substitutions and fewer personnel packages. The offense has returned to a run-first physical ground game intent on pounding the opponent and hitting it with an occasional pass.

Yeah, I think the last play of the game will be a mercy kneel. Perhaps every play in the 2nd half will be, because LUS will be up 45-0 at halftime.

even though UTK is in the **** right now, they won't be losing any games they were expected to win. They would still beat MTSU, Vandy and UK without a QB. They were expected to go 1-4 the next 5 weeks anyway.

VHF - you highly underestimate Les Mile's propensity to make a game like this interesting. I'll be there and nothing would surprise me. As an SEC homer, I love the guy. He may be crazy, but he's never boring.

Does bug though that we'll probably only get to see the Rogers/Bray/Hunter triumvirate of awesome one year only. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if all 3 left after next year. But then again, since they're all so close, maybe they'll stay to make a good run their senior year.
