Is the NFL's MVP in Buffalo?

08:02 AM ET 10.11 | So far, Fred Jackson is holding up just fine. On Sunday, for the second straight home game, the Bills' most indispensable player was serenaded with chants of "Freddie! Freddie!" by his adoring and ecstatic fans inside Ralph Wilson Stadium. It's hard to believe now, but it was just seven weeks ago that Jackson was worried about his starting job and publicly talking about a trade. ... In the past, he has gotten stronger as the season has worn on. Jackson isn't likely to maintain his current pace, but 2,000 combined yards from scrimmage seems well within reach. If Jackson keeps it up, and if the Bills keep winning, he won't be hearing chants of "Freddie!" from the home crowd. It'll be more like, "MVP! MVP!"

You may want to worry about that schedule in Dallas, instead.

They'll be Brady'd about yo!

The Pats defense can give up a lot of yards though... May be a pretty even matchup.

I have end zone tickets for 12/11 when we play them. All in Haynesworth's ear.

Its nice the Buffalo News is proud of its team and all, but MVP is a little much. I see more of an MVP in Detroit than Buffalo. More than likely Green Bay though...

Romo not a winning qb....

Then there's that....

October 11, 2011  08:26 AM ET

Who? It's going to be Aaron Rodgers.

October 11, 2011  08:26 AM ET

nah

October 11, 2011  08:28 AM ET

It's pretty clear it will be either Brady or Rodgers or in a long shot because of his position Calvin Johnson.

Really. Not often that MVP isn't a qb

If Rodgers keeps playing like he is now, that's tough to argue against.
