Parcells: Sanchez not ready to lead Jets

08:01 AM ET 10.12 | Bill Parcells still has the ear of football fans, and now he likely has the attention of the Jets. [Parcells] doesn't believe that Mark Sanchez is quite ready to carry the load to help dig the Jets out of their three-game slide. "He's a developing player, just like all young quarterbacks, and there's going to be some good and some not-so-good," the former Jets and Giants coach told ESPN Radio Tuesday. "Before you can drive a Ford, you have to be able to drive a Cadillac. If they get everything good around him, I think it will go well. Right now, I don't think he can take the team completely on his shoulders."

Parcells wouldn't know when a player was ready or not, because he doesn't stick around long enough to see players develop.
Sanchez took which ever stupid car he wants to put in his quote to two AFC games, obviously with some help but you go into Indy and NE on back to back weeks in the playoffs and win, and he is just fine in the drivers seat.
