Time to trade Cutler would be now

08:02 AM ET 10.12 | If the premise is true that Jay Cutler's skills are a poor fit in Chicago, perhaps the Bears ought to consider trading him. There is absolutely no chatter to that effect in league circles. Sadly, you have to wonder why. The Bears have a quarterback and apparently no idea how to use him, no concept who to put around him and no method of acquiring those players. ... Nobody, certainly not the kind of been-there, done-that guy that Cutler might respect, is going to rush to Chicago as coordinator and savior. The suspicion is that the Bears will ruin Cutler or injure him before they can evolve with him. It would be wiser to trade him. If offense wins championships in the modern NFL, the Bears aren't going anywhere anyway.

Cutler's skills aren't a good fit for da Bears 'cause he lacks the ability to levitate over the unabated passrush. I'd be more worried about a new o-line than a new QB.

Really. Unless they're ready to write off the season, what't the point? No O-line, no receivers and an aging defense. I could see Cutler wanting to be traded, but what's in it for the Bears?

No decent team would want Cutler....for most teams, a QB is usually a team leader and that isn't Cutler....

It would help if Cutler actually had time to throw the football. Start by building an o-line around him, we all saw the difference it made for Aaron Rodgers.

O-line is also the reason the Rams are 0-4, Bradford is getting murdered.

Just like all the draft picks they gave up to get him.

Please... I beg you, leave him there... then the "paper defense" will have someone to blame when they get worked by a sub-500 team

Average for the country, sorry as that sounds. Of course, this is only th official, government-approved unemployment rate. The real number for cities are typically much higher.
