Broncos put another WR on the block

08:02 AM ET 10.17 | Things are getting interesting in Denver, where Tim Tebow is ready to take over the offense. Not only is the Broncos' No. 1 receiver, Brandon Lloyd, available for trade, but so is fellow receiver Eddie Royal, according to an NFL source. Royal was the team's No. 2 receiver until he suffered a partially torn groin in week 2. He and Lloyd are eligible for free agency at season's end. It could always change in the next day or two but perhaps because of his groin injury, Royal hasn't generated much interest in the trade market. Several teams did inquire about Royal at this time last year. But since then, he has undergone offseason hip surgery, and then suffered a partially-torn groin in the Broncos' second game against Cincinnati.

Lloyd is 30, will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, and has made it clear he wants out. They are just trying to get some value for him while they can.
Eddie Royal had a nice rookie season, and has shown flashes since, but is way to fragile.
Demaryius Thomas (Denver's first 2010 first round pick) is back on the active roster and will be a starting WR. Looks like those two first round draft picks are being told to produce now or be gone.

Why pay two WRs when you can't trust your QB of the future to throw?
If they were smart they'd get him an O-line for those two, but they will probably spend the picks to lure the Vikings into giving them the Luck pick.

They won't need WRs. Tebow will lead the flying wing offense of the 1920's where there was no passing so there will be no need for receivers. I am not a Tebow fan but, damn, give the kid a chance.
