Defeatist Dolphins fans anger Sparano

08:33 AM ET 10.19 | Tony Sparano is the face on the sidelines of an organization that now finds some of its fans in favor of losing -- that in an effort to land Andrew Luck with the first pick in the draft. Can you imagine how debilitating it must be to think many of even your own fans have become self-defeatists who wish you to lose? When Sparano spoke his voice was measured and soft, but the words had sharp edges. "There are too many people in this building and in that lockerroom that work too hard and put in too much time to ever consider that sitting well. When you hear it, it don't sit well," he said. "For these people here who put effort in every day, and how proud they are to be part of the Dolphins organization, that angers me."

That was some effort they put in against the NY Jest. The only time I saw a Dolphin player running full-speed was to get off the field on 4th down.

After watching the Debacle against the Jests, 3 times in the red zone netted 6 pts for the fins and 7 for the Jets, I think the fans are correct.

Proud to be a part of the Dolphins organization? Really? Because you've got Venus and Serena?

Seems to me that Sparano is reciprocating... his crappy team is angering the knowledgable Dolphin fans.

I'm a Dolphins fan. It's hard to cheer when you put out 6 point efforts like this past Monday against a crappy Jets team.
Fans: We got Brandon Marshall!
Sparano: Let's keep Chad Henne even though he can't throw a football that isn't deflected at the line of scrimmage.
Fans: We got Reggie Bush!
Sparano: Just don't give him the ball or someone might get excited!
Fans: We're 0-5, and our team is TERRIBLE. We won't cheer to finish 6-10, miss the playoffs, and get the 8th draft pick, because that's stupid. Who would cheer for that?
Sparano: No one supports me! WAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! WAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Fans: (Looking at our watches) Are you fired yet? You stink.

Hey Tony....There are too many people outside of that bulding and lockerroom that work too hard and put in too much time to pay obscene prices for tickets, parking, food, etc only to witness the debacle (under your stewardship) known as the Miami Dolphins. And it DOESN"T sit well with them either. Here's a simple lesson in capitalsim for you. Put a good product out and the world will love you. Put a crappy one out and get ready to listen to a lot of criticism.

I feel bad for Sparano. He ain't Vince Lombardi, but I'd be surprised if Lombardi himself could with with this group. Bill Parcells is a legend? No, a myth. Look at his body of work in Miami and tell me how great he is.

I too feel bad for Tony. What needs to happen is get an owner that knows something about football and start all over. The Dolphins have been an joke for years. Except for that one "smoke and mirrors" year
they stink!

You need an owner who hires people who know something about football and creating a winning culture, signs the checks those people recommend he sign and otherwise stays out of the way.

For an offense that blows as hard as the Dolphins, you'd think they'd figure out how to dump the ball to speed in space....
But they do not. Cause they stink.

I'm guessing none of those people include the scouts, the coordinators, the coach, the GM that hired them all, and the players who couldn't catch a cold let alone a catch a pass. Its a bad team run by bad people who are really and truly out of their depth. At this point they don't have to "suck for Luck"-- they just suck.
C'mon Ross, spend the money and let the "Chin" run the show, or get Gruden out of his comfy chair on MNF.
