10:12 AM ET 10.19 | Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has denied claims he mocked a Villarreal player after his dramatic winner against the Spanish side last night. Villarreal vice-president Jose Manuel Llaneza and defender Carlos Marchena have been quoted in the Spanish media criticizing Aguero's conduct, but the Argentinian denied any wrongdoing via his Twitter account.

well if it's on twitter then it must be true ...

First to be the 3rd poster... maybe.

I can't disagree with the logic you've presented.... the only thing is, the precedent has been set in other situations and court cases that bartenders are supposed to know when to cut someone off, and if not done, they and their employers - or those sponsoring events (corporate events included) - can be held liable for what happens.

They should have disallowed Aguero's goal just like they disallowed LSU's Australian punter's touchdown against Florida. There is no room for competition in sports. I cannot wait for the time when Real Steel becomes a reality.

Eagerly awaiting a Zarco sighting and his categorical denial of any wrong doing by Kun along with accusations of some shadowy link between Llaneza and the English FA.

They should disallow the breading of fish just like they disallow seshual relations with a corpse. There is no room for the desecration of an animal. I cannot wait for the time when Germans learning to grill fish becomes a reality.

You've seen the light!

I understand the law, and agree in extreme circumstances.... but that's gotta be really tough to prove, right?

If this were easy, half the bars and clubs in the US would probably be out of business. There's probably some insurance matters that will come into play as well. If you have an open bar at a corporate event, do you need liability insurance?

When I got married, we had a beer and wine open bar. The person behind the counter was just dishing it out. So, if a cousin of mine gets into an accident on the way back to the hotel, they could sue me, the venue, and the catering company that the server worked for?

What's LLaneza?

What if he made fun of them? He did score the wining goal. If they don't like it then they should stop him from scoring or kick his **** on the spot. Going to the press is beyond weak.

90% of the fish is grilled. Luckily we neither eat horse meat or fish sperm.

They (the defendants) are going to have 2 questions.... dragging it out thru court, potentially damaging a strong brand name like Red Bull? Or throwing him a few bucks of their chump change? I can see him making a cool 10 mil on this if he's willing to settle.

And about your wedding reception..... yes. You could be sued. It has happened. And such a thing exists as Wedding Liability Insurance... I got married last year, and it was offered.

When does the part of him mocking Villarreal happen?

Seriously, it has come to this... I didn't get it... but I thought long and hard about it (and who maybe I shouldn't invite to the reception)

Not speaking to this particular type of situation, but in general, I wonder how many lawsuits I have passed up?
