10:20 AM ET 10.20 | David Luiz will continue to touch his Chelsea teammates before kick-off despite their amusement at the Brazilian placing his hands on Fernando Torres ahead of the 5-0 win Champions League group win over Genk, in which Torres scored twice. David Luiz was pictured with his palm on Torres's head and his eyes closed. However it is understood that David Luiz was not praying, just carrying out a pregame ritual he believes can bring the team luck.

Amazing match last night between DCU and Portland. Sad to see DCU's playoff hopes fall apart. They had so many opportunities in the second half.... just couldn't get one to go in.

DeRo is the MVP.... no doubt. If he doesn't get it, then it's just a case of homerism by the voters.

I hope that DCU can keep this team together. So many "what if" and "almost" moments.... this team will be in the playoffs next year if they can stay together.

CD9 will need to step it up then. I don't even know if he's on the national team radar anymore.

DCU Offseason To-Do List:

1. Get a striker that can actually finish.... not just score sitters and PK's.

2. Re-sign DeRo.

3. Get help for the backline.

4. Do another great job with that first-round draft pick.

5. Grow a year wiser.

He's gone.... no doubt. I believe he's still under contract with Sochaux.... plus he didn't end the season on a high note. Frankly, it's amazing that he has played as much as he has. People are saying that he sucks.... but this is his first real season back from extensive injuries. I'd say he has surpassed all expectations.

As far as the USMNT, he's been passed up.... he will really need to shine to get a second look.

On-topic: Is this why Luiz isn't allowed near elementary schools in Brazil?

FN MLS Fantasy Update:

Only three points seperates PootieTang_Inc and LP2's Total Wine Posse.... with both having players with 11 matches yet to play.

Can't disagree with this. I think Olsen is doing a fine job with what he's got. DeRo really was the difference maker though for DCU. Re-signing him is a must.

I'd say look for another loan spell away from Sochaux. Maybe not DCU but def not Souchaux.

Question: I would think that most of you on here would agree that MLS coaches aren't the most experienced managers out there. Why don't they kinda go on loan to other countries and gain experience as unpaid assistant coaches to see how things are done over there?

I'd love to see Benny go to some EPL side to sit on the bench a bit and gain whatever experience he can.

Agreed. I don't see him coming back to DCU. I think the forward position will be the most glaring hole in DCU's line-up. Hopefully they can bring somebody in....

I support DCU, but they have no right to be in the playoffs. This is a just result based on their season. Yes, Playoffs are fun but in no way should they be allowed to compete in them.
