Will USC QB turn pro?

08:19 AM ET 10.22 | USC quarterback Matt Barkley is midway through what could be his final season with the Trojans. Barkley this week reiterated that he will wait until the end of the year to decide whether to make himself available for the NFL draft. That leaves others to debate, should he stay or should he go? Saturday night's game against Notre Dame -- and next week's matchup against unbeaten Stanford and presumed No. 1 pick Andrew Luck -- could go a long way in determining the junior's draft prospects, whether he comes out in 2012 or 2013.

Who do they have behind him that would take over next year?

He should consider waiting. The Irish defense is going to step up against this guy and knock him around. Then, his draft status will fall. Irish will win tonight! Go Irish!

Posted this in the other USC thread...might not get as many views...Just like in '77, we'll be rolling out a Trojan horse. And just like Dan Devine's squad, we'll win by 30!

With the rookie salary cap in the NFL now, I have no reason to not believe that Lane and the Almni can match any offer.

He may be so good that he could bust open that log jam in a hurry.

Or he could turn out to be Garret Gilbert.

Well i guess this is the thread of the day today.

Barkley is too good to stay another season at USC, besides, what would be the point. There is simply no future for student athletes at SC anymore.

Wake up all you 5 star recruits,, Notre Dame is the future!

GO IRISH !! !
