11:29 AM ET 10.23 | USC tailback Dillon Baxter did not make the trip to Notre Dame because his girlfriend was due to give birth this weekend, according to sources. "He was ready to go and then he got the call," a source said. USC coach Lane Kiffin declined to comment on Baxter's situation. "I'll talk to Dillon when we get back," Kiffin said.

Cheap headline and not correct. Paternity issue? Does not sound like he is denying being the father.
Pete Carroll was all about team, he would have taken the mother to be on the trip, had the trainers deliver the baby and the kid could have played. It is all about team.

Do you think OT might have had a hand in this somehow? LOL

Well OT...what's the answer?

Everybody knows that this poor child will never receive the true attention it deserves from Baxter. It may be one of 10 or more to be fathered by him, most likely all from different women.

I think it is more about he should have made the trip...there is only ONE Notre Dame game a year...he can have multiple babies.....
