Caldwell's fate appears sealed

No danger of the Colts blowing a late lead. They aren't gonna have one to blow.

How does the GM survive this fiasco? He's had years to find a replacement to Peyton but they've done nothing.

Is all this really happening because Manning is injured? Crazy.

Caldwell's fate appears sealed

62-7 will do that...

They don't have a legit backup QB, and their system isn't backup friendly even if they did. They still don't have a consistent defense. Tom Moore is gone. Caldwell is the walking dead.

But other than that the Colts are fine.

Came home from a football-less, but fun, Sunday, turned on TV, saw score in 3rd quarter. Turned it off.

As it should be.... But everyone pretty much knew he wasn't doing too much as the Head Coach before Payton went down.

perception is reality so many times in our society and the perception is that jim caldwell couldn't coach a JV team to a jamboree victory.

miami just got some competition on the suck for luck sweepstakes.

can only hope this spells the end for caldwell, though i highly doubt that he's going anywhere. the colts have a history of forgiving failure over and over - just look at the fact that joseph addai is still our #1 running back. We've had the worst defense in the league for years, and because of that they sign gary brackett to a nice contract??? Manning has made the colts look a lot smarter the past 10 years than they really are.

I briefly forgot who was playing, I think I literally had it on for a minute then found the baseball game. hahaha

The first tie-breaker for draft picks is strength-of-schedule. We can't know how that computes until the season is over, but looking at the schedules right now I would say that Indy has an easier schedule than Miami. I'd assume that means that Indy would get the first pick if both teams finish 0-16. And then there's the Rams.

The Colts can't control their schedule; all they can do is lose to the opponents they get. Still, you have to admire the way they're stepping up to the plate and stinking out loud.
