08:22 AM ET 10.25 | Coach Al Golden wasn't alone among Miami Hurricanes fans. [Golden] clearly was irked about the Miami Dolphins honoring the Florida Gators' 2008 national championship team at halftime of Sunday's home game against the Denver Broncos. Asked about UM's pending celebration of its 2001 national championship team during halftime of Thursday night's game against Virginia, also in Sun Life Stadium, Golden gave this verbal jab: "I'm just glad we got it right and we're going to honor the right team on Thursday night. So I'm excited about that." UM officials said the Dolphins asked this offseason about honoring their '01 team, but the school told the 'Fins it wanted to hold its own celebration during its own game.

But it was St. Tebow!

However, the U would probably beat the Dolphins.

Al shouldn't be mad if Miami came to them first and they said no.

Exactly. Miami said "no". Why is this a problem?

It's a problem because the 5000 Hurricane/Dolphin fans in attendance felt slighted.

This is the problem when you don't own the stadium you play in and the owners of the stadium will do anything for money.

Will those guys be let out of jail long enough to attend?

Your asking about another team's arrest records while on a Miami thread? Seriously? LOL

And as soon as the Dolphins or Hurricanes win a championship, I'll have some sympathy. Been over a decade since the Hurricanes have and 39 years since the Dolphins did. So they can feel slighted. Their fans are the ones that should feel slighted due to their long term sucking.

If they sold tickets to good orgy they'd make a lot!
