08:24 AM ET 10.25 | Among the revelations in "Three and Out," in addition to Michigan's concerns of a mass exodus after Lloyd Carr's departure, is a bit about his relationship with Rich Rodriguez. "There are about three dozen people who worked directly for both Carr and Rodriguez and know them well. Almost every single one of them told me, at one point, 'Lloyd never liked Rich.' In many ways, their styles could not be more different. Carr came across as professorial, while Rodriguez was more comfortable as a good ol' boy. ... [One] athletic department staffer observed, 'If those two were driving across the country together and couldn't talk about family or football, they wouldn't have anything to say to each other for 3,000 miles.'"

QUOTE(#3):

He is not alone.

That's what I thought. I can't find a TSUN fan that did like him.

Those that did grew to hate him for the damage he did to their program.

Didn't we already know this 3 years ago?

In all fairness to RR, Carr was an idiot and there really was no hope for RR from the beginning.

Who cares if Carr didn't like RR? As an OSU Buckeye fan, I looooooved RR, hated to see him go!

Really. RR jacked up a pretty solid team. Spent his time trying slam a square peg into a round hole.

I think that they should have waited until next year for this article to make sense.

Reading the book, it states that Miles all but accepted the job if UM would have waited until after LSU played for the championship. Carr didnt like Miles and leaked some info. Also, not stated in the article, Carr is the one who called RR and mentioned the job. Alot of shady stuff.

Interesting, college football is shady stuff indeed.

My mother always told me that if u can't say something nice about someone don't say nothing at all.

You must not follow her advice much.

Not too sure there. RR would have the same or nearly the same record this year at TSUN that they currently have. Hoke is better going into the future but RR did leave a good offensive team in place.
