08:06 AM ET 10.27 | Tim Tebow doesn't play football without breaking a few eggs. [Tebow] invites so much abuse it's more likely he will end up in a local hospital than the Pro Football Hall of Fame. "Obviously you want to be smart with how much you get hit," Tebow said Wednesday. ... At 6-foot-3 and a robust 235 pounds, Tebow plays quarterback in the NFL like a runaway train. His style is exciting and inspiring. But the sobering truth? Tebow is a wreck waiting to happen, maybe as soon as Sunday, when he starts against Detroit, which boasts one of the league's meanest defensive lines. Tebow cannot keep playing the same way for a very basic reason: He will fail to survive physically through the remaining 10 games.

Don't listen to them Timmy!

Denver needs to get tebow more focused earlier in the game. If it takes slowing him down a little, then do it.

He is what he is.

Playing any other way... doomed.

What happened to The Tebow Picture? I've missed it.

Denver needs to throw the ball once in a while with Tebow in the game to loosen up the defense. If they absolutely don't trust his passing, he should be at home watching on TV.

When someone mentions "train-wreck style", my first thought is Vick, not Tebow.....

October 27, 2011  08:18 AM ET

Wait until he's played a few games. His style isn't going to win championships, but he's a lot more fun to watch than Carson Palmer.

He does look nasty when playing. Running around like a chicken with it's head cut off.

His running looks okay. The problem is when he throws.

He ain't gonna last long. Nor will he ever win a championship with that style of play Neither will Vick.

October 27, 2011  08:34 AM ET

He plays the only way he knows how to play?

October 27, 2011  08:35 AM ET

He parts defenses like the Red Sea. He just needs to play more against teams with red jerseys to help him visualize.

The Miami game was a fluke win. No way should Denver had won that game. Tebow will not survive playing the way he does.
