08:11 AM ET 10.27 | Good news, Warriors -- Mark Jackson prefers practices measured in quality time rather than quantity. [Jackson] is in the Bay Area this week, meeting with his coaching staff and getting ready for the start of the season. He took a break on Wednesday to talk with a group of writers about what's been going on. ... Jackson said he's not big on long practices. He'd rather go shorter than longer when it comes to team workouts. "If you're efficient and put quality work in, we can move on," Jackson said. "Ultimately, it's a long season. We will go over this stuff, well go over it in detail and then we'll be out of here. I'm not a guy who wants to keep players here three or four hours just to say we're here."

Practice isn't required since there are no games in the near future.

Well on offense when Monte Elli shoots an average of 20 shots a game it sounds like everyone else just needs to practice for a few minutes and watch Monte

Really? I know that quality is good but not always proficient. I was always told that practice made perfect, sometime practices need to be perfectly long. I understand also that long practices don't always produce positive results; its the talent and how they compete; we'll see.

Long or short; it really doesn't matter. The team sucks, the coach sucks, and the results will suck.

Losing Doesn't Take Much Practice, Bro.

I would say practice until the players tune you out. But I know the next comment would be "they've already tuned him out". Amirightoramiright?

I'm willing to give Mark Jackson a shot but I agree with you on the state of the team.
