Jacobs can't wait to get out of New York

08:03 AM ET 10.28 | Brandon Jacobs doesn't see himself playing for the Giants beyond his current contract. The big assumption there is that he'll still be around to see his deal (which has this and next year remaining on it) to its conclusion. ... With a $500,000 roster bonus due in March, the 29-year-old running back probably is right to think his time with the team is drawing to a close. That didn't stop him from telling Men's Fitness that neither he nor Ahmad Bradshaw is getting enough carries this season and that their roles in the offense are "confusing." "I just can't wait to get a true opportunity to get out there and show myself again," he said in the magazine. "Next year, hopefully."

This team is going nowhere fast in regard to player retention. Nobody wants to stay a Giant, must be Coughlin.

Brandon Jacobs stars as Snake in the new version of escape from New York.

Is it gonna be like the new version all Steel Magnolias with an all black cast?

Your job, Brandon, is to do what you're told and not create issues in the media or in the locker room. If the "direction" the team is taking is wrong, they'll lose, and management should make changes in player personnel and the coaching staff.

Until then, you are paid to run and block. That's run the ball, not run your mouth.

He's a bum anyway. Giants suck.

actually, that depends on his contract....if his contract has incentives based on production, he is getting paid to do more and has every right to complain that he isn't getting the opportunities....

if my contract says that I get a bonus if I avg 100/gm rushing, I'd be pissed if they only gave me the ball a few times a game while other RBs get 20-30 carries....he appears to want to go somewhere that will allow him to do his thing....

Especially after reworking his contract so the GGGmen could re-sign Bradshasw.

Thanks Big Guy.

"Hail to the Redskins!"!!

There seams to be a lot of players running off at the mouth this year. More than usual anyway. I wonder if it's a little fallout from the Palmer hold out or maybe a few unresolved issues from the lockout. Or maybe just some over paid Diva's in love with their own noise.

Didn't know we play in Toronto this Sunday.... We are decimated with injuries.

I may find something else to do during gametime because we're going to get our **** WHOOPED!

It must be the city. A great place to visit but nobody wants to live there.

He ranks third among NFC QB's in passing stats. I'd like to suck like that.
