08:08 AM ET 10.28 | Allen Iverson can no longer afford to be picky. It doesn't matter if it's the Cleveland Cavaliers, Toronto Raptors, Minnesota Timberwolves -- or any of the NBA's other basement dwellers. [Iverson] will take your call. If you're an NBA team and you have a spot open on your roster, Iverson is willing to talk. "I'll play for anybody," Iverson told Yahoo! Sports. A 10-time All-Star and former MVP, Iverson still wants back in the league even though he's 36 and played only in Turkey last season. He's one of the game's greatest scorers, but his history of off-the-court drama and issues with coaches tainted his career, even in his last few seasons in the NBA.

Dude is dying to return to the NBA. You can tell when a person truely love what he does best. I'm sure he's not hurting for money I really do believe he misses the competition and love the game, also misses the all the things that come along with the game. Virginia is a military state, a lot happens there but also a lot don't happen there and maybe he's not ready to retire. Only thing with Iverson is that he made that statement when he was traded to Detroit "I'm not a bench player" and teams are afraid he'll not accept a role other than a starting role and is just saying things to get a return back to the league.

You know it's Halloween time when the dead rise from their graves and start haunting the place again.
He needs to find Marbury, sit down to a good plate of Vaseline and plan what they're going to do when the players create their own league. There will be a place for washed up psycho's in that league for sure.

He is hurting for money my friend...
He lost the one thing that made a person of his size able to play in the league...His speed. Without his speed he is just a below avg player at this point. He brings nothing to the table.

AI, you need to look in the mirror and admit to yourself that you're washed up - you are truly desperate when you admit you'll play for anybody. You're history says you won't be happy on a bottom feeder team, and I doubt fans will flock to games to see you play anymore. You had a good, not great career...it's time to move on!

Actually, Iverson had a bit of a ahem, gambling problem. Wade doesn't.
