08:20 AM ET 10.28 | The SEC may accidentally have pushed "publish" on a report that Missouri would join its ranks, and speculation remains high that the Tigers will leave the Big 12. Sources who early on told The Star of Missouri's interest in going to the SEC remain steadfast in their contention that, eventually, that will happen. But one of those sources, who is close to the MU athletic department and its teams, said Thursday that coach Gary Pinkel's current demeanor reflects the fact that a decision has not been made public, coupled with the football team's on-field struggles. "He's about as grumpy as I've seen him," the source said. "It's a huge distraction for the kids, and it's unnecessary."

What's the distraction? Play football, pretend to go to class, try not to get arrested ... isn't that what all college football players face?

Yes, except some pretend to play football, actually go to class...but the get arrested part is common to both.
