08:22 AM ET 11.01 | The Green Wave hasn't been without a coach long, and the rumblings are beginning. Former Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez may be a prime target for Tulane in its search for a new football coach. Rodriguez was offensive coordinator at Tulane in 1997-98. From there he went to Clemson to serve as OC for two seasons before taking the head coaching job at West Virginia. Bob Toledo agreed to resign on Oct. 18 after Tulane's 2-5 start. Mark Hutson was named interim coach. Tulane is now 2-7.

...and Leach is a little "wacky" or eccentric as the sophisticated prefer. It will take an administration that is courageous and comfortable in their own skin to be a good fit with Leach. Unlike what existed (and still exists to some extent) at Tech. Tech admin couldn't handle his zaniness...in spite of the fact his players performed both on and off the field very well.

I have him at UCLA......he would be normal in So Cal, plus lots of skilled players and no defense in the 12-Pac.....Leach to UCLA in 2012

That would be an interesting option. Like to see if they could recruit there.

LOL, yeah I compare Tulane to Sacramento State, they have a hard time recruiting too. Too bad RichRod and Leach can't find a better job than Tulane!!!
