Layout changes for Hope course
Tournament executive board member John Foster admits he wasn't immediately sold when he first heard the idea of changing the order of the holes at Classic Club for the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic hosted by George Lopez. The re-routing of the front nine, which will turn last year's eighth hole into the first hole for the pros and amateurs in the tournament, is just one of the changes golfers and fans will see when Classic Club hosts the Hope tournament for the third time next month. From greens that have been completely rebuilt to bunkers that have suddenly disappeared, Classic Club will have a slightly different look and feel for the 2008 Hope.
