08:01 AM ET 11.03 | Given some time to think about it, Eli Manning lives without regret for the bold statement he made in August. In hindsight, he said, he was simply being "honest" when he said he was a Top 5 quarterback who belonged in Tom Brady's class. "I'm usually not into the business of ranking and rating quarterbacks and comparing myself to other guys," Manning said Wednesday on a conference call with the New England media. "Looking back, I thought I gave an honest answer, and I don't regret anything." Manning, who gets to go head-to-head with Brady on Sunday for the first time since his radio declaration, said again that he was surprised by the commotion his words caused, but that "I just didn't worry about it."

QUOTE(#7):

Brady is good but I think Eli would have the same stats as Brady if he had forever to throw the ball like Tom does.

Naw, this is Eli we're talking about....he'd still find some way to overthrow his WR for a pick-6.

Can't really consider yourself an"elite" QB when no one touches you but you still fumble while diving for a 1st down.

Eli' & Brady's stats are very comparible this season.

So are the team records.

Let the season play out...

The Giants eat at a restaurant in Bergen County, NJ the evening before home games. A friend of mine happened to be at the restaurant the evening the team was there. Of course, the staff kept autograph-seekers away from the tables. But as they all got up to leave, a four-year-old boy wanted Eli's autograph, and had been waiting with his parents for some time. Eli refused. THAT'S what Eli is elite in: being a prick to small kids.

I hate this story. It's old.

Maybe he stayed at a Holiday Inn last night
