08:17 AM ET 11.04 | November, where his teams have won 11 straight games, is Brian Kelly's time of year. The push for continued intensity, [Kelly] said Thursday, doesn't come from the head coach after a rollicking win. Instead, Notre Dame's coach said the calendar and an extended on-field workout schedule did the pushing for him. "We practiced more this week than we did last week, in terms of the amount of time on the field," Kelly said following practice. ... "The push doesn't change. Your players, in November, understand the stakes and we're in the stretch run here and there's not much time left. We have to be on top of our game. I've sensed that this week. Our guys have been locked in and we've had a good week."

Convenient when their "stretch run" happens with such difficult opponents as Wake, Maryland and BC. I'll give them credit for Stanford being difficult but not the other three.

After USF, Michigan and USC, we're glad not be locked up. Clean finish starting this weekend. Go Irish!

Thats great. Now you'll lose on Saturday.

Crawling before walking isn't a bad thing.

Hope not. Van will commit suicide if that happens.

Locked in is better than being locked up.

But the training wheels need to come off eventually!

Here's hoping that they are locked on their next opponent. Big finish and it's off to the Chubby Cheetah bowl in Las Cruces on December 25th.

Is that connected with the Cheetah Club in Atlanta? If so, hope they bring the girls from the club to entertain at the game. Would boost attendance.
