Well, at least Barca still has a good shot at the Champs League trophy. It's still early but this looks to be Real's season in la liga.

Somehow, the Philips collection 90th anniversary celebration and Photoweek exhibit won out. I think I'm whipped; def will hit it up another time.

Private art gallery in Dupont beats out local beer in NoVA. There are strong indicators here!

Everton crapped the bed versus Newcastle, who is still undefeated after 11 games.

We might have snuck a point if it wasn't for the awesome touch of Jonny Heitinga....

How has Heitinga done at Everton? I was a big fan of him during his time at Atletico.

I think he's a valuable piece on the roster. But I think he's kind of a utility man for Moyes.... playing wherever he's needed. Sometimes CB, sometimes CM.... He's never the first choice to start at any particular position, but usually finds his way into the line-up due to injuries, conditioning, suspensions, etc.

CB isn't his strongest position, as you can see in the video! I think he's best utilized as a CDM along side Fellaini in a 4-2-3-1.

So it looks as if Everton has gotten caught up in yet another slow start, earning only 9 points through 10 matches.

Ahh gotcha. Bad touch! Unlucky and unfair. I believe he was used as a right-back for los colchoneros.

I can't believe the news coming out of Penn State. This whole thing is terrible....

The trio of Phil Neville, Tony Hibbert, and sometimes Seamus Coleman, has that spot occupied. I think he could do well there, though.

I don't see Heitinga staying with Everton much longer. He's expressed his desire to play Europa and Champions League.... and Everton isn't going to be doing that anytime soon.

Pump the brakes there Jackie... let's try and make it through a season without missing half the games before vowing to be a Gooner forever.

Jack is English and Arsenal is a big club in England.... barring a collapse in overall play and in the standings, why would he go elsewhere, at least domestically?

You ever listen to that guy talk? I know he's speaking English, but even I need subtitles!

Is the US playing this week sometime? I thought for some reason they were but I can't find anything on it.

Arsenal isn't West Ham. As long as they are making deep cup runs and qualify for Europe, he stays. Until they become West Ham in 2000 and have to let go all of their Brit talent, he stays.

Friday versus France.... then Slovenia a couple days later. Not sure when the second one is taking place.
