08:04 AM ET 11.08 | In addition to learning that kicker Rian Lindell will miss at least a month, the Bills are likely facing a longer stretch without nose tackle Kyle Williams. [Williams] is expected to miss the rest of the season, based on reports the Buffalo Bills have received so far, sources told The Buffalo News on Monday. Williams has missed the team's last three games because of a foot injury, believed to be bone spurs irritating his Achilles tendon. Here's what coach Chan Gailey had to say about the situation: "It looks like Kyle will be headed down to see the doctor one more time, I think it's in North Carolina or South Carolina. ... He'll be going down there [Tuesday] or Wednesday and I think something definitive will happen then."

November 8, 2011  08:16 AM ET

The coach doesn't know if it's South or North or Tuesday or Wednesday? What does he know?

Good time for this to happen. They come to Dallas next week.

Not much of a suprise here. The Bills will finish their season in mediocrity. They are, after all, the Bills.

November 8, 2011  09:03 AM ET

It's that time of the season where injuries start to add up

Judging by the way they played this weekend, he has bigger things to worry about.

The Bills were walking a high wire without a net. They made the mistake of looking down, and now they're going to fall. It was fun while it lasted, but they will finish out of the money.

Isn't shaving off bone spurs a rather simple surgical procedure? He should be up and running around in no time.

The Bills aren't the real competition in the AFC. They never were. They are fundamentally the same team that finished 4-12 last year. They started strong, and surprised a few teams early, but now they're being taken seriously and they will be lucky to finish with a winning record.

Might be for you and me (wife had her ankle done years ago) but for Pro Athlete probably a whole other level.
