Brantley expected to play Saturday

08:17 AM ET 11.08 | Despite not throwing since this past Saturday, John Brantley's workload is about to increase. [Brantley] was to miss practice on Monday with an arm injury but is expected to return Tuesday and be ready for the game this weekend. The senior QB, who missed 2.5 games with a sprained ankle, was hit on his throwing arm by Archie Barnes' helmet late in Saturday's win. Brantley did not return in the game as freshman Jacoby Brissett replaced him for the final offensive drive. "He's fine. He just got a funny hit on it," said Florida coach Will Muschamp. "He probably could have gone back in. I told him just sit down we'll let Jacoby finish it. It was just one of those things, a funny injury, nothing serious at all."

It's either Brantley or two true freshmen. I think Brantley is the man through this season.

Sounds like a very similar quandary as UTx. Might be best to write off the season and get some more experience to the younger guys
