08:01 AM ET 11.09 | Coming out of the weekend, Albert Haynesworth was gone, more forgettable than forgotten in New England. There are a lot of things that can be tolerated on a football field, even getting regularly beat because of a talent disadvantage. But not failing to give a full effort. ... [We] waited until we talked to a few NFL personnel executives to see if they came away with the same opinion. "On the ground three-straight times and didn't seem at all to mind!" one said. "Just stopped moving his feet on each play." "Those were three really bad plays," the other said. Haynesworth needed to go, and sources said some Patriots players were grumbling about that, but coach Bill Belichick was already moving in that direction.

Did he at least get a complimentary KFC bucket on his way out?

November 9, 2011  08:09 AM ET

What's really strange when he quits like that though, he KNOWS film will show his efforts....

He just doesn't care.

I really expected Ocho to go first. Have to admit, though, that there wasn't much difference between Haynesworth and a very large bag of fertilizer. I think he recorded 6 tackles with the Patriots.

He had to know this was his last chance, and apparently didn't care, what a POS

And this is News!!!

He did last longer than I would have figured. Ocho still there is a sure sign of how desperate they are for something resembling a deep threat. Problem is that Ocho is not a threat to anything other than Brady's completion record.

His greatest threat is to himself when he twits and tweets.

Probably a career ender for Fat Albert. Hope he didn't spend all that money on fast food.

It will be a minor miracle if any team goes near this guy. I hope he doesn't burn through his savings too fast.

When asked by the media after Sundays game why Haynesworth didn't play the final 24 minutes of the game Belichick said they were just rotating players. Well BB just rotated Haynesworthless right out the freakin door.

POS...

Hope he is debilitated in a car wreck. From the moment he stomped Gurode's face I was of the opinion that he had no place in the league.
