Malzahn to get his shot at Ole Miss?

08:17 AM ET 11.11 | Ole Miss is in full shakeup mode, beginning with the end of the Houston Nutt era. Any list of potential head-coaching candidates is likely to begin and end with [Gus Malzahn], at least when discussing assistants being ready to get their own head gig. The Auburn offensive coordinator was heavily wooed by Vanderbilt last offseason but elected to remain on The Plains. Whatever the reason for his bypassing the Commodores -- holding out for a better job? -- Malzahn remains on the minds of many athletic directors because of the effectiveness of his offense. While the Tigers are struggling to adjust to life after Cam Newton, Malzahn has proven that his system works at other stops as well, including Tulsa and Arkansas.

Well let's turn these into something good then. I'll start.

LSU football team is a bunch of wimps!

And Notre Dame and Boise wouldn't survive in a real conference with tough teams week in and week out.

How's that?

VR - I don't see how the Florida boys can turn this down...it's a slamdunk deal.

And thanks to all the veterans for their service to the greatest country in the world. It's much appreciated.

I'm with MG on this.

At least Corinne was elected, and therefore could be un-elected. These 2 numbskulls cannot be un-dumbed.

I say we pass on the deal.
