07:03 AM ET 11.12 | How many of you would be startled to discover Isiah Thomas has been creepin' round Billy Hunter's back door to get his job? How many would be stunned to learn Florida International University's current head coach is angling in due course to replace the executive director of the Players Association should its membership feel flogged (compromised following so many compromises) by David Stern upon the completion of a new collective bargaining agreement or if negotiations again break down and additional salary (games) get forfeited? According to a pretty piped-in informant, skulking and stalking are exactly what Thomas has been doing...

QUOTE(#2):

I personally would not mind seeing Isiah Thomas as the leader of the players' union. It would make this circus act all the more entertaining. Besides, he can't do any worse than Hunter, Garnett, and others have done with their tantrums, gangster-like behavior, and stubbornness. By all means, elect him !!

You took the words out of my mouth. Plus with the Isiah runs thing the union would implode and the fans would have had a season to watch.

Hunter should have been dropped and fired after the last time a deal was done.

NBAPA look no further than the Knicks. He would be worse than Hunter in a huge way.

That's the problem when a label has been put on someone, the man is ambitious, if it was anyone else, that's what would have been said. They've vilified this guy unfairly, Checketts had ruined the Knicks long before Isiah came on board but he took all the blame. So what if he wants Hunter's job?
