08:04 AM ET 11.12 | Asked if the Texas incident would affect Kyle Busch's Nationwide and Truck series schedules next season, Joe Gibbs was noncommittal. "Kyle has 40-something people working over there (at Kyle Busch Motorsports), we have a large number of our race team devoted to Nationwide and so I think that's something that we'll just continue to work through," he said. Gibbs also said Busch would face some other "financial penalties." Busch acknowledged there were times over the past week he wondered whether he would continue to drive for JGR. "Was there a point in which Joe ever told me, 'Hey, we're looking at terminating this?' No," Busch said. "Joe has been there and has stuck by my side and has held my arm through this whole deal. I can't say enough about the man sitting next to me."

On a serious note, I think he will have an entirely different attitude now. This episode has put the fear of God and Nascar into Kyle. He didn't look happy last week watching the race from the War Wagon.

And why don't the mods get off their duffs and start policing this spam thats on the blogs and T&R sections.. this place has really gotten run down.. but I hang out in low-places anyway..

Any sponsor news is good news. Things have been rough lately with sponsorship of many teams.

Joe Gibbs has always had a great program of bringing up new drivers. He doesn't deserve this headache and should cut loose of this hot head. Kyle has talent, but he is dangerous. I would hate to be the owner of a car that intentionally put someone in the wall and caused life threatening injuries.

The Harvick/Biffle story was up for 2 weeks while Jeremy Mayfield was arrested for drugs, Busch blew up, and probably a couple other things that could have been T&R material.

care about the racing fans that used to get good stories here....nah, too much of a bother
permanently block to the SPAM.....nah, some folks actually read it and saves us having to find a current story

As for Gibbs standing by Kyle....of course, he has to....the contracts and influx of monies are very complex....he has no choice as a good businessman....but, can he tame this wild driver?
Hopefully, only tame him a little bit......we need some crazy antics in Nascar....we need to see passion slightly out of control.....I do not condone what Kyle did, but understand the passion that drove him to it.
