08:44 AM ET 11.13 | We can't tell you whether this is a case of hide-and-seek, but Slap Shots has learned from several sources that after exercising its right for the first time to audit select NHL clubs, the NHLPA believes it has discovered unreported revenues from last season. We're told Washington and Nashville are among at least a handful of clubs that have been cited for failure to declare hockey-related revenue, with the matter now more likely than not to be decided in arbitration.

And so it begins. Donald Fehr doesn't care about hockey, its fans or the owners. He cares about his clients. He may have surprise there because hockey players get involved more in their communities than the baseball players he used to represent. He'll still find a way to make their greedy side come out, just you watch.

On another topic, I like the new Leafs strategy of shooting the puck in your own net. I think they'll go far with it.

Fear Fehr for sure.

This is very surprising.....Nashville had revenue?

November 13, 2011  09:22 AM ET

That's surely going to complicate negotiations for the new CBA.

The Leafs season seems to be unraveling right on schedule.

Did you see that Tampa shut out another team last night? Sure it was the hapless Blues, but still. The league really needs to look into the 1-3-1 and do something about it. You can't go shutting out teams night after night and . . . . . Wait . . . . .What? The Bolts were shut out by the Blues? Oh . . . . never mind.

Not surprised at all. Nashville having profits to funny. Yes the Leafs do suck and yes it is that time of the year for them to implode.

Not surprised that you'd find that clip so quickly. Easiest goal Michalek will ever score.

What are you trying to say here exactly?

So...imagine that there might be less than honorable 'owners' in sport or even, Hockey. My Gawd, what is the world coming to?

Speaking of Hockey...did anyone see Mr. Hockey last night at the Hall of Fame game?
Sadly I observed that the years look to have finally caught up to Gordie.

The bigger question is what the heck was the net empty for in the first place?

The were down 2 goals...less than a minute to play and had gone 0 for 5 on the PP all night...Did Wilson actually think...(oxymoron flag) that the Leafs special teams were going to do something in that time?
Dumb.

Cut him some slack Puckhead. I think he looks great for 83.

Time catches up with all of us. I'm just hoping to make it that far.

He has all the slack in the world Canuck...I just had not seen him live for a while and really noticed a big change in him. Of course time catches up to everyone...but it is sad...as I clearly mentioned. Huge Howe fan so what's up with your retort anyways?

I once got credited for a goal in a play like that, since I was the last to touch the puck on my team. It was on a delayed penalty call. It was in a tournament, we got shellacked like 7-1 or something, but I got 'player of the game' because it was a stupid prize handed out to the first player that scored for each team.

Lol...gaa: 7.00, player of the game.

Every day you're on this side of the grass is a good day. But as I told my neighbors, that if they see me running down the street in my skivvies yelling 'Who am I?" Just...shoot...me.
