Fox: Tebow would be [cooked] in traditional offense

08:05 AM ET 11.16 | Jake Delhomme fired John Fox a congratulatory text Monday, complimenting the coach for winning "the Foxy way." So what exactly is the Foxy way? ... Fox paused. He smiled. And with the most laid-back, charismatic attitude of any coach in the NFL, he explained it the only way anyone could rationalize a 17-10 win that included only eight passes by quarterback Tim Tebow, against 55 running plays. "Do whatever the [heck] it takes," he laughed. "I mean, what the [heck]? You don't get points for style in this league. Let me tell you something: My man is really good in this offense. You know what I mean? "If we were trying to run a regular offense, he'd be [cooked]."

Well duh! If Tom Brady was trying to run a Tebow offense he'd be [cooked] So? It's amazing that the Broncos finally broke down and put in an offense that was Tebow friendly, I was pretty sure that they wanted him to fail.

Winning "the Foxy way"...
... As opposed to the Delhomme way which includes throwing 5 INT's in a game.

You select your personnel to fit the offense you want to implement....Fox didn't choose Tebow and will change everything once he has the opportunity to get someone, anyone better

Well either their "regular offense" sucked or the person running the "regular offense" sucked because you weren't winning.
Here's a thought, maybe they BOTH sucked.
Granted he may need be a HOF'er, but somehow, someway the kid wins. He's got that "it" thing that you can't coach, teach or describe. Contrary, given the time and effort, you can learn how to throw and read coverages. Just look at who some of the 2nd and 3rd stringers on some teams are.

The funny thing everyone has failed to realize is that defense's today are designed to stop the aerial assault that has become the mainstream. Personnel have been chosen for those defenses to compliment their scheme. I am sure most teams will stack the box and try and stop their defense. Let me ask you this though - how was Florida successful in running their offense when teams knew exactly what they were going to do? I mean they only won two national championships right?

Who knows? Maybe he will go over the top on them like he did against KC.
Fox's comments may be true but it appeared self-serving to make the statement he did. It looks like he is saying, give me all the credit for the win and not Tebow.
