08:22 AM ET 11.16 | Not long after riding an 11-2 run to a 75-65 win over Kansas, Kentucky's Doron Lamb believed the Wildcats had made a case as the nation's best team. Still, UK coach John Calipari wasn't entirely pleased with his team's performance. "We don't believe we have to truly play together yet," Calipari said. "It's not talent that wins -- it's good teams that win." The Kentucky coach said, especially in the first half, his players weren't following plays, opting instead to do their own thing. "Did they even look coached in the first half?" ... "You cannot compete within your team. You complete each other. So we've got a ways to go." The coach also wasn't happy with some of his team's emotional outbursts in the second half.

routine maintenance. Every once in a while they geeks need to show they are doing something to justify their paychecks.

I thought they were all unpaid interns. Gotta justify their college credit they're getting though I suppose.

I could not ever get on FN at all yesterday, what gives?

Me either. It looks like they had a server outage. No new stories were posted yesterday, either.

If he keeps winning a lot, but doesn't win the tournament, do you (the T&R public) think they'll keep him?

They're probably confused , their union rep for the NBPA was sitting there with no information regarding latest antitrust info and didn't know if the game had been cancelled or not . And why hasn't Billy (Hunter) kept them updated. " What we have here, is a failure to communicate" .

QUOTE(#11):

Bray is back, so the Vols now.

I said it 2 days ago since yesterday was the great "What do I do at work day with no FN?" day. Bray plays, Vols win by 10. Bray doesn't play, Vols lose by that much. We shall see.

But yes FJJ, UTC is probably the best. They have lots of Vols castoffs. Lots of the kids that were in Kiffin's "Top 10" class.
