Syracuse loses recruit after allegations

If the character of a school's coaches is going to become more of a factor in recruiting than it has been in the past, there are a lot of schools that could be in trouble!

I think this goes a little deeper than just character issues, if the allegation prove true.

sad that it goes on all the time...just no one usually hears about it....

I don't think anyone would have have the balls to go to the news media or the police and report some of the skeletons that the SEC has in its closets because they would more than likely find themselves at the bottom of a lake.

Am I the only who thinks this is ridiculous? All the facts suggest that nothing happened at Syracuse and that this 39-year old who alleges crimes happened in the 80s is just jumping on the Penn State-inspired bandwagon. All thanks to ESPN who didn't want to run his "story" eight years ago (and for good reason) but now gave in to their sensationalist tendencies.

sophomore? The kid is a prospect but he's no one's recruit yet.

I am not buying in to it for one second. Listened to the accuser, just did not sound right. And then his step brother chimes in.

If concerns about the integrity of coaches were a huge deterrent for potential recruits, then certain schools would never attract any players. A certain coach comes to mind who left two programs in the dust as their past championships were vacated.

I would not believe one bit of it at this point. This is an old story that was turned over to the State Police years ago. Listen to the accusers interview. It does not fit. Then his step brother makes the same claim a few days later?
If the accused is falsely accused, then that is the sad part here. Anybody can make any claim they wan, and the world is full of people who would do just that.
Not buying any of it until it is looked in to hard.
