08:28 AM ET 11.21 | Sidney Crosby, nearly a year removed from his last NHL game, is back. The big winners, aside from the Penguins who are getting their captain and best player back after missing nearly a full year of action, are looking to be the folks that enjoy making an extra buck or two on the second-hand ticket market. ... As of this posting on Sunday evening at 7 PM ET, the cheapest ticket for Monday's game on the Penguins Ticket Exchange is over $143 for second level tickets. And they quickly go up. The most expensive? Some opportunistic fan that is offering his seats in section 205 (just inside the blue line of the end the Penguins shoot at twice) for $690.00 ... each.

A few more dollars and they'll cost as much as Leaf tickets!

There is no way I would sell my tickets to this game. Even if he plays 10-15 minutes, it is worth being there.

He's got to hit, and he's got to take a big hit, and let's get back to it! :)

Just hope the Islanders don't come out in goon mode.

hahaha - thanks for the Monday morning laugh Danny.

I'll watch the game on TV and drink a two dollar beer.

My first thought.

"Let's Go Pens!"!!

Who else is nervous for Sid?

Sid!

I'm curious if the NHL is hypersensitive about Sidney getting hit and sends a message to the officials.

Well, more hypersensitive that is.

I just hope that The Islanders don't get into their chippy crapola tonight. Considering the recent history between these 2 teams, I have to question why tonight?

Agreed. Maybe not the best opponent to start against. If the Isles dress Trevor Gillies, I think Sid will be well within his rights to wait one more game.

If the Islanders dress Trevor, what does that say about them? Are they interested in winning hockey games, or are they interested in being **** and the continuted laughing stock of the NHL?

What game would be a good game to dress Sid? He can't avoid certain teams forever.

$143.00 for a ticket. Some people must be doing ok to pay that price. Most peple in the burg can't find a decent paying job with benefits.

They have to find out sooner or later how he can take a hit. Might as well go against the Isles as opposed to any other team. If he is susceptible to concussions, it won't take much of a hit for him to feel it.

I'm just glad all this crap is almost over with. Now we can have a weekly (if not more often)Crosby thread about what actually happened in a game, rather than a weekly (if not more often) Crosby thread about whether or not he's coming back this week.

Good luck Sid. Keep your head on a swivel.

This is very true. Someone is going to hit him. Was the concussion Crosby got as serious as the one that Savard got? Only reason I ask is that a basic check was enough to end Savard's career after the major one.

Or anywhere else LOL. Good to see him make a comeback so to speak, those tickets will cost about 10 bucks for every min. he might play.
