08:08 AM ET 11.23 | Not only is DeShawn Stevenson less than hopeful, but he's also upset with his leadership. "Right now there is just a lot of bad blood and [the owners] keep putting offers out that we're rejecting. So we're not going anywhere." Stevenson thinks the owners have been slow to recognize how much the players have already conceded in negotiations, but he also points blame at someone else: Billy Hunter, executive director of the players' former union. "I felt like we should have decertified in July," Stevenson said. "I feel like Billy Hunter is doing a horrible job because basically now [the owners] know our hand. The media knows our hand. The owners know our hand."

Billy Hunter does not suck... if you consider his interest in this whole ordeal. He prolonged the negotiations, he is now involved in some phoney "association", he is still in the picture ... of getting paid. Hunter's interests are well protected.
Actually, let me retract my assesment - he does SUCK, he sucks money out of those dummy players.

I don't understand why all of the players get to vote? I think if every player was able to vote on the new deal then I think majority rules and we would be watching games.

I can't believe Stevenson is the first player to come out say that Hunter sucks! He is smarts than we think! Props to you DeShawn!

I know right, out of all the players he was the one to keep it real.

I know I couldn't do it...........could you? Eating day-old bread and going to soup kitchens. Not fair. Let's go to a park and Occupy NBA!

I told you no NBA in 2011...hopefully some in 2012

Yeah I don't see any nba in 2011 either but maybe 2012. I am turned off by the sport due to all the greed. I'm becoming more of an MMA fan and of course college hoops. Duke is looking pretty good so far.
